Our story defines us
In the heart of La Ribera del Duero, a millennial history has been beating for ten centuries. In the deepest part of it, it is located our wine cellar:
For a thousand years, Quintana del Pidio has been supplying wine to knights, abbeys and Castilian warriors. Its vineyards have bred mystery, legends and heroic deeds.
The winemaking Aragon family discovered that the only way to recover traditional values was to do so reconquering the past. So, they decided to restore an area of underground cellars from the 16th century in the historic wine village of Quintana del Pidio.

We age all our wines in French oak barrels which are kept 18 metres underground, after fermentation in cement tanks.
Red wine.
Crianza red whine 95%
5% Albillo Tinto Fino.
Alcoholic fermentation in cement and ageing in 228 and 500 litres French oak barrels for 16 months.
White wine.
Aged white wine
100% Albillo.
Alcoholic fermentation in cement and ageing in 228 and 500 litres French oak barrels for 6-8 months on its lees.
Rosé wine.
Aged red wine
50% Tinto Fino.
50% Albillo.
Alcoholic fermentation in cement and ageing in 228 and 500 litres French oak barrels for 4 months on its lees.
Dominio del Pidio is not only a winery. It is a way of understanding life through wine experiences, social events, history and culture.
Always respecting classic viticulture, we have the will to look to the future: tracing history with wines that start from the origin and seek the roots in each variety. From this journey of conviction, "Los Bodegones" was born, a very special limited-edition wine, of which less than 250 bottles are produced in Magnum format, which invites us to feel the tradition and the landscape with each sip.
